Charlotte Stein - Control

I read this book in the the hope it wouldn't be the same cliche story line as so many other books of late. I wasn't disappointed, the book presented me with a fun and flirty opening, a steamy and hot middle and a pleasant ending.
I did feel the book could of read a little better. It wasn't as clear in some parts and there was Times I lost the main point of the story.
Andy was often overbearing and Gabriel Weak, not submissive and well behaved but weak, maddie was the least believable when the story first began, firstly she allowed a man she didn't know make sexual advances towards her during a job interview, then she made advances on man she only assumed was interested in her and we fail to learn how as he gets him back for a second interview/trial.
We don't learn where either parties parents are yet hear about them through out the story.
I loved that this wasn't a usual dominant man takes submissive women scenario but I was disappointed in the way the characters where portrayed we seemed to miss a lot of important thing out that would of completed the story for me.

Krista & Becca Ritchie - Addicted To You

This book covered alcohol abuse and self sexual abuse on a level i've never know in a book, it was refreshing to read something that concentrated on the fact two people that on paper are so right for each other could in fact be very, very wrong for each other.
I've marked this book 4 stars because i felt whilst the main subject in this book was sex the intimacy and general details lacked during scenes of the MC's together which wasn't want i needed from these scene after being given the loaded details of the 'accidental' intimacy through out the start of the book.

Sorcha Grace - A Taste of You

Cat is a closed off, emotional, wild bundle of nerves since losing her husband so suddenly, William is an arrogant, charming, hot as hell millionaire with commitment issues.
Both of them are deep in lust within a few meetings and things go from bad to worse when neither of them are willing to commit further.

I enjoyed the book and don't wish to give too much away however during a miss-communication which i don't feel is explained very well i was put off William, his lack of ability to articulate ....well anything. He barely spoke, didn't correct and didn't apologies.

Lots of hot sex, little in the way of real conversation, i look forward to seeing if book two can straighten things out.

Lilly Wright - Begin with Goodbye

Wow, so much story fitted into such a short read.
We are taken right into the heart of things with a funeral of a loved one, friction left behind with an ex and a niece that needs her right now, it's a short read that promises so much trouble and excitement.

There is a lot of emotion in the story and a lot of things we don't have answers to, i'll be keeping up with this story but would like to hear some POV from Julian or atleast some insight as to why if he's so bad she would give in to him.

J Kenner - Wanted

I just finished this book and it was a whirl wind of emotions and heated encounters all rolled into one.
Evan isn't your usual bad boy, he wants to get clean, he knows he's wrong but he has his reasons for why he's here and now doing what he does, Angie is a whole bunch of pent up frustration and needs a sure way of letting it go without too many consequences.
The story line wavers a little before the second intimate meeting between Evan and Angie and i think we're going to see some bad writing but that doesn't happen, after the awkward club scene passes (personally i'd of up and left) we get back to why we are all here, the sex.....the scene's in this book are perfect, it's not too much kink, tied up in pretty, hot, sweaty bows of lust and heat. I'd recommend this book to anyone looking for a good read with steamy scene however this book isn't all sex, there is meaning and purpose to the characters, it just take us a while to figure out what they are.

I'd of liked to hear more about 'Ivy' and just what Evan was thinking, i'd of also change the C word since it's loved but some and hated by many but all in all it was a good read.

Mina Bennett - Shelter Me

This is an interesting read to say the least, i'm neither Christian nor do i attend church except for Christmas mass with family so it really enlightened me on some of the goings on in a strict Christian family and in church. Unlike others i was more concerned with the fact the MC's husband wasn't found, it worries me to think in the fictional world he's still roaming around doing the same things to others and that's not nice, i also felt there were unanswered questions, what did Mark expect to do/say to explain the removal men if Mari had stayed with him? Surely he knew she'd tell her folks if they'd moved away and told her all the church money had gone too, why marry her and not the others? why did Jacob say they were taking it slow yet they'd already been together sexually and since it's been mentioned so many times in the book about how you can't hide anything in such a small town why did they need their parents to relay messages of them being missed at church, surely they'd be seen around town occasionally. Back to the story, it was written from two POV's, it's tricky to get the right mixture of thought and speech but the writer managed it well, the story seemed to struggle when Mari started visiting Mark for dinner and as a human with a mind, ignoring the female sensitivity and religious beliefs she should of felt marrying him after the photograph incident was wrong but somehow she managed to ignore all the signs, i was shocked to read about Lily, i expected things to progress further so all in all i feel this story is just a little unfinished, i think we could of missed out a few pages of friends/family chatting, explained the cats illness and heartbreak and moved on to finish the story properly, did she get a divorce, did they tell the police, did the Pastor ever come out of his room and re-take group sessions?

Michele Renae - Window

Can you write a book that's 95% one sided, have it involve alot of fantasy and one sided sex, find out very little about any one else and it still be sexy as hell.....Oh yes!!
I loved the out of the box style of this book, the story ran almost like reading someones memoirs, i imagined thinking along the same lines when off in train of thought moments and the mystery of Mr. across the window was awesome.
And it involved some rather unusual fetishes that most books don't bother entertaining, i'm so glad this one did.
I'm off to stalk the author and pre order, TBR and blog about book 2

Jeffe Kennedy - Five Golden Rings

A brilliant read, Roo doesn't want the heavy romance boyfriends and Christmas bring and Miguel doesn't offer it, He instead offers 12 days of naughtiness and with what he's got and what he's offering she'd be silly to decline.
It's a book full of kink play scenes, unexpected feelings and some surprises along the way.
A good read for a chilly evening in front of the fire.

Lisa Renee Jones - Being Me (Inside out trilogy book 2)

I worried book 2 wouldn’t hold as much excitement, passion or lust, i was wrong to worry, Lisa pulled it off as perfectly as before.
It begins where the last one finished, at the unit where we heard footsteps. The story takes on many twists and turns, the most shocking being Chris’s behaviour towards the end of the book and the where abouts of Rebecca, I have a book hangover from this book so recommend only starting it when you have enough time in your day to finish it, i neglected everything to finish it because it was so addictive.
I’m worried that now we have a lot of lose ends tied off there won’t be enough drama in book 3 to fill the void but I'm holding out high hopes since i was wrong about this one.

Elene Sallinger - Awakening

Awakening – I was given this book in return for a review
This is one of the best reads i’ve had for a long time, i loved the alternating between POV’s and the fact that although a very sexy book it wasn’t sex scene after sex scene but still read like a kinky read.
The Author clearly had some knowledge of BDSM and wasn’t just rambling what they had heard in passing which was refreshing, the terminology was hilarious in some parts ‘Evan stared at his bourbon as those it had stolen his wallet and wouldn’t give it back’ was a favourite of mine.
I loved the fluid style of writing, the fact the MC was both a victim and abuser and felt guilt, this wasn’t a straight forward love story and the plot kept me reading the whole thing in one sitting, i’d recommend it to anyone that likes erotica or romance since it caters for everyone.

Marina Anderson - The Dining Club

The Book as a whole was a great read, it lost me around midway for a while until i realized the layout of the characters and that it wasn't going to change, disliking a main characters isn't normally the way a book makes me feel but this one did a pretty good job at it.
In the beginning your routing for things to end well for Grace and David, by the end of it i was questioning if she needed her head testing and he needed checking for a pulse, it is a purely dysfunctional relationship and minus the visits to the club i'd question it's purpose, it's not put me off Marina's work but due to the final chapter i wouldn't recommend the book to anyone not looking for oversexed and highly charged scenes because although it ends in what you'd assume is the right way in actual fact it left me feeling rubbed up the wrong way and i'd of preferred it ended differently.

Marina Anderson - Sumbit (The Dining Club - Part Seven)

This Part of the story was brilliant, it drew away from the relationship and was so focused on the 'tasks' i loved it.
I still dislike David and prefer Andrew, i also wish Amber would just up and leave in the night but i think that's the point.
The story seems to lose a bit of something when lots of people are involved and mentioned in a short read but i'm hoping it regains it'self in the last book.
